We have included this page as a help guide to make sure that measuring your room or facility is as easy as possible.

It is really very easy to measure and estimate how many square feet of rubber rolls you will need before you order if you follow a few simple steps.

When measuring a room to estimate how many rubber rolls or rubber tiles that you need, start by sectioning off the room into squares or rectangles to get an accurate measurement of the square footage of the room.

If the room is already a single square or single rectangle, you are ahead of the game and this project will be a piece of cake! If not, read below.

Example.

Let’s take a look at an example of a small gym with a cardio room, a weight room and a spin room.

All 3 rooms in the gym are open to each other but we look at this as 3 distinct areas that need to measured for your new rubber rolls.

  1. Spin Room:This room is 15’ x 15’ so we would multiply 15’ x 15’ to get our square feet for this room. 15 x 15 = 225 square feet.
  2. Cardio Room: The cardio room is 25’ x 25’ – 25 x 25 = 625 square feet.
  3. Weight room: The weight room is 20’ x 20’ – 20 x 20 = 400 square feet.

Total square feet for all the above = 1250 square feet.

Congratulations, you have now just successfully measured your room. The next step is to get a roll layout guide which you can download by clicking here. (coming soon)
