Commercial Gym Flooring

Q: What type of commercial gym flooring will stand up to a busy gym, weight room, health club, physical therapy facility, or university/school fitness center?

A: Our entire line of rubber sports flooring is commercial grade and made of the best quality materials available.

It is the same type of rubberized flooring that has been used as commercial flooring for years. This type of flooring can be found in many of the largest health clubs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Chances are if you belong to a  large fitness club, you have already walked on and worked out on this type of flooring.

Our rubber flooring was originally made for the commercial gym floors market and we have experienced many years of success with our durable and great looking material.

Q: How is it different from your residential flooring?

A: We made the decision a long time ago to make only one grade of flooring and to not skimp on our residential line.

By having only commercial-grade rubber matting, we ensure that no matter the type of exercise facility, you will be receiving the same high-quality material that has been tested and proven by many gyms across the country.

Q: What are my options for my commercial facility?

A: Most commercial gyms and health clubs use our rolled material to cover large areas. The rubber rolls are one of the most economical options to cover a large area with a nearly seamless look.

This commercial-grade rubber flooring is designed to provide the perfect amount of cushioned resilience and durability and will hold up for many years while looking great.

Our rubber flooring tiles have become the standard in the industry for commercial gyms.

Q: What about smaller gyms?

A: Smaller gyms are still a perfect fit for our rolled flooring. If you are looking for something less permanent you can always use our interlocking rubber floor tiles.

Our interlocking tiles do not require any adhesive and if you are planning on expanding or moving your gym to a new location, you can always pull them up and take them with you.

Q: What thickness is used in most gyms?

A: The standard in the industry is  3/8” thick or 5/16” thick material.

Most commercial gyms do not use ¼” material since it is a bit thinner and will not give as much protection from dropped weights.

Another reason 3/8” or 5/16” thick is often used is these thicker materials are more forgiving when it comes to a less than perfect subfloor.

The ¼” requires the subfloor to be in good shape as it will show the imperfections more than the thicker floors.

Q: What about free weight areas?

A: Both our rolled rubber and interlocking tiles work great and are installed in many free weight areas. If you are looking for something thicker, we will soon be introducing a line of commercial gym flooring that is specifically designed for free weight. This flooring will be able to withstand huge amounts of abuse. Check back soon to see our latest line of high abuse material.

Q: What about colors?

A: Our commercial gym flooring ranges from solid black to custom blended colors. We can easily match your gym or corporate logo.

We pride ourselves 0n having a large line of fitness flooring at competitive prices. Solid black is always the least expensive. Prices increase incrementally depending on the complexity of the color.

Our Standard colors range from solid black to our speckled colors which start at 10% and go all the way up to 95% color. Click here to see our color samples

10% color content is a standard in the industry and make up a large percentage of commercial rubber flooring sales in the United States and Canada.

How are the rubber flooring rolls and interlocking tiles installed?

Our Rolled Rubber Flooring can be installed with a full spread of adhesive, double-faced carpet tape or in some cases can be loose laid.

Our Interlocking Rubber tiles are specially designed to be installed without any adhesive or tape which makes them one of the easiest sports flooring systems to install.

One thing to remember about our commercial gym flooring is that our whole line of rubber flooring is commercial grade and we make sure that only the best materials are used in the production of our rubber flooring line. Many of the largest gyms in the USA and Canada  have used this same type of rubber flooring for years.

A huge plus of us only using commercial grade rubber flooring is that  it doesn’t matter if you are a huge gym with locations all over, or a small health club just starting out or even a school gym. You know that your facility will be getting top quality made in US recycled  rubber flooring. It is the same high-quality for everyone, with no exceptions.

With a range of colors starting from a sleek professional black which is available at a fantastic price, we can blend colors to meet the need of your facility.  Or if you want to go for a more personalized look we can match your facilities logo and create custom designs for your rubber flooring.
